Changes For This Blog

So I’ve been posting every week for 6 months now and I feel like my content isn’t always the best quality. Sometimes I just throw something together last minute because I’ve had a busy week at work. Summer is one of the busiest times at my job and I’ve been coming home pretty late.  I never feel like I’m able to put in all the hard work that I should into my blog because I already did a lot of hard work at my job.

Also, I’ve never done well with set deadlines. They tend to make me dread whatever I’m doing. I tried writing a 30,000 word story in one month-so 1,000 words a day-and one of the days I got sick and couldn’t write. After that I was just behind and I just couldn’t make myself catch up because I was so tired of the feeling of pressure to write a certain amount. It took the joy out of something I usually love doing. I think the same thing is happening to this blog.

I made this so I could share crafts and stories and whatever I felt God wanted me to write about, but to be honest I don’t have great ideas every week. I just try to come up with something and hope it’s not too awful. I don’t want my blog to be like this. So I’m making changes.

I will no longer post every week. I’m not quitting, that’s for sure, but I’m also not going to force myself to post something I don’t like just because I need something to post that week. How often will I post now? I really have no idea. But if you’re following me, you’ll get an email every time I do put up something new.

I am more excited for what this blog can be now. I’ll actually have more time to put together something that I like, and hopefully you guys will like it better too. So…yea, thanks for reading. 🙂
